I'm surprised but I find it appealing...
First time I see it and wasn't aware of such a style in Cartier's collection (even if I know your Diver already, but I think it is very different).
I appreciate the clean and straight to the point case and lugs but with a nice design though.
I really like the crown that we are more used to seing in dressy Cartier watches but it suits very well to this casual model.
I like the way the bezel is decorated even if I would have prefered to have holes in the bezel instead, fullfilled with a material (ceramic or else) instead of a fragile coating.
However, we wouldn't have had these improvements at such a budget I guess.
The main repoach I would have is that we don't see the movement. Otherwise it is very nice.

Because frankly speaking, it is not very nice! From a commercial point of view, maybe you are right because an entry-level watch is may times the first step in the world of mechanical watches. Fx

As you said, not a diver... But a lot of the graphic elements makes me think of a vintage divers watch! As for the solid case back - I think it is good, but after viewing the very nice design and attention to details on the front I was expecting something...
