It was an interesting design
Elegant and quite popular with women based on my own observations. I still remember being in a high-profile business meeting with a female senior executive who had a gold model and who several times during the meeting wound the crown, possibly out of stress (they were trying to sell us an expensive contract). Nonetheless, the watch looked very good on her. My only gripe is that it obstructs the view of the cabochon.
