Leaving Mrs "Anyone" in the Harrods store is a very dangerous
idea.... even if you have the delights of the Cartier shop to look at. Fortunately, Harrods opens reasonably late, and hence the excuse: "just popping down the local" comes into play!
Be good to see you in London and the Cartier shop and more generally the Fine Watch Room at Harrods are all very worthwhile for your, and your friends, viewing pleasure.
