Whenever I see the red tunic and the bearskin it always reminds me of my own time serving with a guards regiment.
And look at the weather................. It was dry. Now I must make a note in my diary, that at least ONE day in July it was not raining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey Topcat, which regiment and when? i was in the Lifeguards band from 1980-1983 then the 16/5th Queens Royal lancers 83-86. Life in the household cavalry was good, but the b******t was a bit much so i transferred. i bought myself out in 86 as i hated it ...
