Ive noticed that Cartier's movements are quite austere, monochrome. Obviously a design decision...historically have they not favored blued screws, gold engraving, etc? The austerity is distinctive, but quite hard on the eye. Although I guess they are sold more on the dial than the movement. Is this a popular look?
