Support your local watchmaker! Richemont, who own Cartier, don't have the best reputation for this work and are expensive. As for your quartz, just have the battery changed.
Discuss service that you require with Cartier and get a written estimate before you agree the work. Take photos of the watch before handing it over, just in case of any problems later. Let us know how you get on. Best regards Captain

And my first « luxury » watch was a Tank, so I’m probably biased, but you won’t be disappointed with the brand once you’ll get your first interaction not only with your watch, but with the whole house.
And so you’ll be more than pleased to own and wear a Cartier. You can’t go wrong with their small classic and classy designs (plus you have some choice !). If they are the only brand forgiven for their quartz riddle collections it’s not for nothing imho )...
Depends on what service you are looking for, I think. They do service vintage watches, if you are in the USA the watch will be sent to Switzerland and you will receive a detailed list of what they consider needed and a list of recommended, you can decline...
