L.U.C. Mark III Classic

I haven't posted for a while but I just want to relate how happy I am with my new L.U.C. Mark III classic. At a time of inflated valuations, I think this is probably one of the best in terms of value for money.

I'm also happy with the whole buying process. I initially dropped by the Chopard boutique at the Pavilion shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur asking if they had it. They only had the silver dialled version. I prefer the grey dial - it's different. So they offered to check for me with Switzerland whether they can source one. It will take some time they said given the holdiay season. In the meantime, they offered to put the silver dial on reserve. Fast forward a week or so, they said it will take at least three months to get one after placing an order. Well, I guess I'm not patient enough - plus the silver dial version is still a stunner. I think the good service I got from the folks at Chopard probably helped in making my decision. I have had experience with other high-end watch boutiques that say they'll look into something and that's the last I heard from them. Oh well, their loss. Come to think of it, the last time I bought a Chopard watch was in Singapore - that time they were willing to reserve the watch for me even though I was calling them from another country!
