I would choose a TWIST anytime over a Tech Twist. Just don't like the asymmetric sub-dial at 7 o'clock. Doesn't it make reading more difficult? Especially the date.

Karl-Friedrich Scheufele. I don't know him personally but have read a bit here and there about him. He is a far-sighted and deeply committed person. I also read that when he started the LUC project, he initially had a lot of resistance/skepticism even from people in his company. But he preservered and proved them wrong.

Thanks for reminding me the relationship of a watch with the character of the manufacturer's leader. I always relate the character of the wearer/buyer with the watch but I forgot this important link. Have to start thinking along the lines of Philippe Stern/Patek, etc. And also perhaps Nicholas Hayek/Breguet?

Do also catch up when you are in KL.
