Same here...
What makes Chopard unique are the details. I would guess that the dial has a liquid quality and that the polish on the hands is fantastic. Also, the casework undoubtedly is wonderful. Along with the special in-house movement, the entire package is what makes a Chopard watch unique and elegant.

Not to pick on Chopard
because I do respect Chopard immensely! But... come on with the same old tired chrono designs... (no doubt it is well executed and very fine.)
Now that I think of it, however
Chopard is hardly the one to be picked on... they are probably the most 'out there' mainstream house of them all! But I do look at that chrono and say, why bother?
I prefer this dial layout though...
