Movado hasn't done much lately that I like. But the design here is iconic and in gold or gold fill/plate it is definitely unique. As for getting it in quartz, this watch does not typify a quartz watch--I mean, there's not a good reason to get it specifically in quartz. Citizen is the king of quartz
