CHOPARD Forum Christmas Message

Dear Chopard Chums,

As the hours, minutes and seconds count down towards Christmas Day, I tender warmest seasonal greetings to all.

Whatever our personal beliefs, colour or creed, the end of the year has special meaning for all, as we draw the shades over the past and look forward with hope to open the curtains to the New Year.

It is a time of goodwill to all as we strive (as mere imperfect PuristS) for perfection in an imperfect world.

Chopard Animal World

It may seem incongruous for resolutions about these things on a luxury brand forum but I am reminded constantly by Chopard about the Haves being inspired by the Have Nots.

Chopard has been involved for many years in a number of charitable activities covering a variety of fields including medicine, ecology, art and culture viz. The Naked Heart Foundation, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Womanity Foundation, CentrePoint, Elton John AIDS Foundation, The Prince of Wales Trust, WWF Tiger Conservation and Fairmined Gold.

Most of us will never have heard of some of these like Petra Nemcová’s charity, Happy Hearts Fund, which helps children in areas hit by natural disasters and has rebuilt schools and kindergartens in seven countries like Haiti and Bali.

NOTE:

CHOPARD did not issue a Press Release on this topic this Christmas; It is my personal observation.

It is also one of the reasons why I continue to support Chopard even if they add a 10% premium on the Fairmined pieces
