Chopard

After a quick meeting with The Don ( Justino ), I could finally see the Chopard Alpine Eagle, Art in Time LE which you will probably have difficulties to see in real life, since only 8 pieces were made. The main characteristics? Titanium case and bracelet...  

What can I say - both Mrs E and I have the blue dial ‘original’ model for a few years now and we are still fans. I am usually a rabid No Date person but in this case I have found it to be discreet enough that I don’t mind it. Best E.

I have the large. But for some reason it feels a bit odd for both of us to wear them at the same time.

…I haven’t worn a ‘real’ watch more than a few times in the last two years. Why? Because my Apple Watch allows me to unlock my phone while wearing a mask. And here in HK, especially now, we wear masks when we leave the home. Really *really* looking forwar... 

I don't understand all this limited edition, it's almost as if everyone wants hype... whether because of strong demand or because manufactured by limited quantity. I don't think this is how you build up great demand (and sales) for your products. If I wan... 

To divert a little, I think Chopard needs to reduce the number of models in their range, and this goes for the LUC as well. Across the board, it's somewhat messy and unstructured. There are gems, but it's just being distracted by other really pointless mo... 

The Alpine Eagle series is finally growing on me. Without a date window, they even would be better. GEO

Would like to see Chopard play with colours and materials more on the AE platform, I think the time traveler in the AE case could be an interesting watch.

I like the clean look due to the absence of the roman numerals. And the dial color is very nice. They did quite a lot of LE, apparently. I had the chance to try one of their LE during a GTG last week. Very surprised by the fit considering the 41mm size wh...  

I wish center link would be brushed and not shiny polished.
