The dial design of the new MM model (16/8457) cut a very clear message: this
watch looks like a 'sports car'!
(this was the reply when I showed the photo to a few friends who were not
watch enthusiasts but love cars).
Good design, adding a "fuel gauge" did not upset the balance of the dial.
The power reserve is well-represented the gauge (with the 'Below 20% red
zone') , reminding to 'top-up' to ensure efficient running of the engine!
To me the look conveys Power and Speed. Like a mean mechanical machine with
the "1960s Dunlop Racing tyre-tread motif" strap on.
Nice work...this watch could get more people curious about Mille Miglia, and
of course make the decision in choosing which model of the GT XL more
challenging!
