Being fair though, at least this one got the month sub-dial correctly laid out, with December (the 12th month) at the 12 o’clock position – it’s hardly rocket science, but yet appears to have baffled some in the design department up until now.

Normally I'd prefer January at the 12 o'clock position. Patek, for example, always puts January on the top.

I was all set to buy a JLC MUT Perpetual in black but this picture saved me. I've always wanted a Chopard LUC 2000 Sport but this will be my Chopard.

When I went to the local AD to buy the watch I realized it was very difficult to read the date during the last 1/3 of the month. If it were 2mm larger diameter it would be much more legible. I really like the big date on this one. Funny but I didn't even ...

I do not enjoy wearing my gold and platinum watches since they are almost too good for me. I can never relax due to my scratch paranoia.
