I'm rapidly growing to like the Red....
I too was wary of the Red before the watch came in. Before seeing the watch in person, I would have opted for metallic yellow gold or rose gold colored chronograph hands as the differentiating color. But wearing the watch and looking at it on my wrist now, the red is a darker red, it's very attractive and does not not overwhelm. It is also quite fun as I now have a custom watch strap on order with red stitching to play on this theme. I do feel the red works better on the black dial PuristS edition than on the rose gold 1963 Chronograph. Tim

Ling, Choice is the definition of Luxury, so your uncertainty about juxtaposition of Roman and Arabic numerals is fine. The context of history and rationale for choices made are important. For example, all Cartier Tank watch dials have Roman numerals........
