I agree with all your points and I think it's time for Chopard to get rid of the date altogether on these MM chronographs.

They offered an in-house chronograph movement for significantly less 🤷🏻♂️ I find a lot of the design choices nicely judged, though - however the date wheel still not matching the dial color is an unfortunate miss. Especially at this price point 🤦🏻♂️ ...

From a rose gold version with the very high grade in house chronograph movement (the same as in the Purist Edition). Had that one not been RG I would have been sorely tempted 👍🏻
