I asked specifically during an interview with Mr Scheufele
He replied quite candidly that pricing was important for entry level Chopard watches.
So, assuming no changes to the industry, there will be 3rd party COSC able movements for Chopard Mille Miglia watches except for occasional special engines like in the 90th Anniversary model and the Race Editions for 2015 and 2016.

Certainly understandable...
I guess the watches do have a different target audience And I have to say that both my wife and I are enjoying the ETA powered 2014 Race Edition Mille Miglia, too, so it seems to work overall
