As much as I admire the horological and gem setting expertise exhibited in both watches shown, I still find it difficult to get sufficiently in touch with my Eastern European self (as per your description, MTF
) to seriously consider visible diamonds on a watch. It may be a bias - and I am sure Chopard will easily sell both limited editions - but it's one that will not be easy to overcome...
I do, however applaud the diversity effort of Chopard - with male timepieces being presented as well as jewellery for the ladies

I'm not so sure, diamonds in general goes very well in pair with a black or navy blue dial and silver tone case, much more restrained than say a YG case with silver dial. I'm quite sure I'd enjoy watching it gracefully play with the light in my winder but...
