Its not a Rule but Guidance about see-through caseback
At Chopard, its not a Rule but usual practice to have a display caseback for watches with in-house movement.
Its an appreciation-thing for both maker and watch owner.
Thus, I suspect that non-diving Chopard watches, even Mille Miglia, will have see-through back.
The finishing style is a different matter.
We know they can do fine finishing on industrial scale like in the LUC 1937 watch movements and also Classic Racing fenestrated movements.
LUC 1.010 movement
This display case back is one of the few showing non-Chopard movement....because it is the venerated Lemania handwind chronograph movement with Chopard added finishing. The Chopard 01.01-M movement family could be used in future Mille Miglia because of common motor racing motifs.
Or could they have a new Mille Miglia-specific movement finish?
We won't know until a Miglia Mille watch with Chopard movement appears...
