Nearly a decade now since watch was released. Some thoughts.
I have a GTS Speed Black, and although I did not take a liking to it, I have grown much fonder over the years. It is, as you say, an understated watch but really cool as such. However, my initial gripe with the watch was the treaded rubber strap that it was presented with. Whilst I understand that the watch, and the rubber strap, is a homage to the Mille Miglia race with nods to racing cars then (hence the treaded rubber strap?), I personally think it would have been better if they had presented it with a leather strap, or having one as an option. Way more comfortable with a leather, and looks much better was well, IMHO.
Anyway, am just curious on your thoughts re the watch since you have had it for almost a decade now. Actually, might be interesting to have watch collectors/enthusiasts review their watches and see what they think of it vs. their first/early reviews of the watch.
