Chopard

I visited a nice jeweler this past week and looked closely at the Chopard LUC Sport 2000 (silver dial/bracelet) and the AP Royal Oak 15300. Both are very nice watches, of course, but I was struck by the comparison, particularly given the cost of the latte... 

I have to say that the LUC Sport is fighting well, even though above its weight division, so your conclusion is actually very favourable! Of course, in the next weight division, the LUC with superior 1.96 or 9.96 movements have the clear advantage. MTF

Hi, Daniel, I'm all for open and engaging discussion, but discussions have to go both ways. Since you raised the points, I'd appreciate understanding where you are coming from so I can address those points - in agreement, disagreement, or other. Otherwise... 

For me, the LUC remains a very good, albeit inconsistent looking, watch range and I would any day choose a LUC over a ROO.

for me, it would make it even worse. I know many like the RO and ROO but its really not for me... especially the ROO.

I mean LUC should stay in a LUC case and adding a ROO case will make LUC worse for me as opposed to a LUC movement in a ROO case making the ROO worse. Again, that's just how it is for ME.
