shouldn't be an issue
assumably (I had a similarly CF textured strap on a Panerai 1950 flyback) -- it's probably relatively soft and you can wedge it in no problem. .5 mm on either side is no big deal with a soft strap.
Trimming would probably be a case of a steady hand and an x-acto knife, but, again, it's cheap and thus worth the experimentation.
Any of the major Panerai strap sources generally stock 22mm, and many in the carbon fiber texture.

The interesting part of the MM GMT is that it's a 21 mm strap; which unfortunately is not terribly common. a 22 mm fits with a bit of wiggling; one might want to try here, seems to be what you're looking for... (and cheap, too!) Removed link to dealer. Th...
