25 June 2009, Chopard Asia has a cosy gathering to unveil the 2009 Mille Miglia Collection at the Singapore Flagship Boutique.
Went early to capture the preparation work by the Chopard Team.....
Props and the newly couriered pieces were promptly put up followed by a quick product briefing. Decorated moving display A few of the models vintage cars which are still participating in the Mille Miglia Race. The Mille Miglia labels for the participating year... Wow! An oil tank The decorated stand The door gifts for the guests This is one nice showcase!
The Decorator snapping her works. Last check of the presentation materials and then convert the lounge to a small theatre. The showcase was converted to temporary hold the projector.

Another interesting corner, a watchmaker (who is also the Customer Service Coordinator). One of the Purists was asking him some technical questions.
By 7pm, most of the guest arrived. Drinks and canapes were served.
7:30pm, the presentation started.
Mr Maxime Labey, Managing Director - Chopard Asia presented
and gave a run down of the Mille Miglia pioneering pieces till the 2009 collections.
Mr Maxime Labey, Managing Director - Chopard Asia Quizzes were next and interesting prizes were given to guests who provided the correct answers.

So what's your take on the Lunar Big Date after staying in the private room for 20 minutes? The next day several of my friends went over to check it out too. Kong
But you know how I struggle with anything above 41mm and with this, the lugs and hence strap seem to stick out just that bit too much. It is a great piece for larger wrists imo.

Kong, It was not the theme of the evening, but I was also looking at the other models (LUC) of the Chopard collection. It is because of our Chrono One discussion that I can not sleep any more. That is a beautifull watch (especially the steel version) I ke...
