Your watchmaker could try and contact Chopard Service Department in UK to see if they will supply a watch repair business instead of an individual.
If not, Chopard UK may suggest an accredited watchmaker near you, who is allowed the parts and to work on a Chopard.
As each country may have local operating procedure depending on their resources, it may be irrelevant what another country's procedures are; but I could try to ask Geneva HQ for advice.
