The best choice from the short list was the LUC Sport IMHO - albeit a slightly biased opinion 
You could have chosen this special piece below. It has the new "sapphire-coated" bezel, which will be the new technology that LUC employs for it's future Sports models with adjustable bezel.

Pro One Cadence
Even if you miss out on the Ltd Edn 'Pro One Cadence', at least future Pro One GMT model will also have the sapphire coated bezel....for your consideration when the Visa card has recovered.....

MTF, As sober as the LUC Sport 2000 dial/bezel is, I quite like like that. It doesn't draw undue attention to itself. Bezels with large/obtrusive numbers like the BP fifty fathoms look a bit "diver" for my tastes. I like the dial on this new model though ...
