Chopard

To the one just posted by Yacomino. Here the granddad of them all, i.e. the first LUC 8HF. This one still with the white dial, no PR and a titanium case. I fell in love with it as soon as it came out and while it took me years to finally find one in Europ...  

Still need to find some properly fitting straps for it for the summer season 😊👍🏻

I was looking at this piece at a trade show for many minutes - under poor lighting - and couldn't decide one way or the other. Memorable, certainly.

At the same time in many ways striking. The case construction is interesting, the movement a highlight for someone who’s a fan of high frequency (not that you can see much of it through the little porthole in the back), the then new handset of Chopard got...

And I fully agree there’s a lot going on. For me personally it works in a non-conventional way but I fully understand that that probably wouldn’t be the general view 😊👍🏻

Almost got an AE with the 8Hz movement but when this became available it was the clear preference for me, since I have been looking for it for ages 😊👍🏻

And I owe you some case detail shots, if I recall correctly 😊 The conceptual feel is one of the things that draws me to it - find it similar to the Amvox 2 in that respect 👍🏻
