Dear community! I would like to ask experts for help in evaluating this golden Chopard Protoype. It looks vintage with serial number clearly visible on the back of the watch. It also clearly says - 'Not for sale' on the back. Friend of mine purchased this...  

Hi 4apaev Since the watch was bought at a fair for 'high amount', hope it came with the necessary papers. Otherwise, please request your friend to bring to the nearest boutique to see if they could assist to verify. Kong

hey Kong! Thanks for the reply! The amount was about xxx$ back than and no papers supplied. IT was more that its a prototype watch so most probably one off piece, I am just curious if this is really worth the money, since I might want to buy it. Regards p... 

I would not transact, be it prototype 00 or 'NOT FOR SALE' except for known vintage pieces after inspection with relevant technical info. Just be cautious. Kong

Thanks a lot for indetifying!! So it is basically a prototype or a demo version, which looks identical to the model sold to consumers? So I guess it is no that special after all... greetings
