in line with my wish to expand my vintage collection i am selling some of my newer pieces. this particular piece is a lovely NHC Ottica by Vincent Calabrese. Vincent calabrese is one of the worlds most respected independent watchmakers who started NHC (Nouvelle Hologerie Calabrese) to bring his work to more people. having said that these watches are very uncommon and rarely seen. my model is all black with black polished pvd case and black dial. the Ottica has Vincents famous rotating jump hour complication where the hour is displayed in a cut out which acts as the minute hand roatating around the dial. as it hits the top the hour jumps over to the next one. very clever and very easy to read. to the centre of the dial is the NHC logo which rotates to act like a second hand, indicating when the movement is working. the plastic glass is unique and when viewed from the side looks very very funky. the movement is an ETA so is bomb proof and servicable by anyone. it comes with a carbon strap with black pvd buckle. i added this myself as it also comes with a steel engine turned deployment clasp which doesnt sit right with the pvd watch case so i took it off and its in the box. the box is very large so shipping will be quite expensive, but worth every penny. the watch is in mint condition. the strap has never been removed and looks like it has barely been worn. it runs perfectly as you would expect from an ETA calibre. this is a rarely seen watch in a very popular case colour. its design is unusual enough to make you stand out from the crowd, but the colour is very discreet. i think i've priced this very fairly, but offers are always listened too. shipping in UK will be £15 and internationally £30. if you wish to choose Fedex it will be £60.
