When I posted the article on the new MUT 39 Perpetual, i used this photo of a perpetual calendar from 1934, a photo which I found in my stock.
I found it very nice, but you can imagine my surprise when I saw it in the real, during one of the US Dinners JLC organized in So Cal:
On a photo, you have some issues to get the real volumes of a watch, when in the real, it is in 3 dimensions, you can touch it, weight it.
Like when a myth becomes a reality.
Indeed, it is always better in the real.
For your information, you have, here, a pocket watch whose case is 50 mm +++, and a thickness which is above 20 mm +++.
Try to keep these datas in mind, when you look at these pictures, you will have a better idea of what it is.
A monster for all the wristwatch fans, but what a delicious object of desire.
And, as often, the content is to die for, but, sadly, I didn't have the tools to open it. Next time, I will!
