2008 Daytona
2008 turned out to be the year I acquired a few contemporary Rolexes I had wanted for some time. Early in the year I finally obtained a stainless steel Daytona -- two actually. I gave my wife a white dial, and I kept a black dial. This is the best picture I have managed thus far (ironically, among the first I took). I rarely wear it, but I really enjoy it. The watch has so much history. It is maybe a bit cliche in Southern California, but it is oh so nice to wear, and to observe.
