A few pictures of my new Oysterflex Daytona
I was lucky to receive this Daytona right before the end of the year, and I must say I’ve been quite taken by it. The combination of colors sing to me, and the oysterflex strap is fantastic: sporty, robust, comfortable, and easily sturdy enough to handle the weight of the rose gold case. I love the feeling of a true sports watch in a precious metal - a certain cool factor that is a noticeable difference from my stainless sports pieces. Aside from being very comfortable, the strap also balances the flash of the gold extremely well, in my opinion, so that it doesn’t feel too flashy. I previously owned an all rose gold Daytona, and while I always liked the look of it, it felt to flashy to wear in most situations to me - my own mental block I know, but it kept me from enjoying it, so it had to go. While I’ve only had this one for a short time now, it feels like a keeper. Thank you for seeing and reading. Have a good week, everyone.

The light from the sun was very warm as it was setting when I took these pictures. I didn’t realize the effect it had on the strap, but now that you point it out I see what you mean. It has been a lot of fun getting to know this piece.

If I were you, I’d just keep trying to see them and trying them on as often as you can so that you’re eventually resolute one way or the other. To me, they are both very nice, it’s just a matter of preference.
