Patek Philippe

3 unusual Patek pieces have been sold at Phillips lately

 

... and reached a quite high price.

These are nice references that auctions allow people to see sometimes.


- A 5004P which belonged to Eric Clapton, with a blue dial and specific markers and numerals (among others) - a little over 720 K€:

- A gorgeous 2523 World Time from 1954 - sold for around 2.24 M€:

- A very rare rose gold 2499, from 1968 - sold for around 2.27 M€:

I don't know which one I would prefer between the 2523 (this dial is so awsome) and the 2499.... depends on the mood (!) but finally the World Time could reach the finish line 1st from a small distance as it is so elegant and balanced...
