3939 - humidity but not water-proof
Question - the 3939 and indeed all the minute-repeaters are only humidity proof as opposed to the others which are up to 30m waterproof.
Exactly how practical and user friendly does this make it? eg, does one have to remove watch everytime wash hands just in case a splash of water gets near etc.?
Also, is the 393 pretty robust for day to day wear or is it more of an 'evening' watch?

You shouldnt worry too much about moisture ....
in terms of size, in my opinion, just perfect fit !!...
