5127R gone from Patek catalog but not forgotten
Haven’t worn this beauty in a while with all the steel sports watch frenzy. But this classic elegance is still valid and I am glad to have this on my wrist again.
This particular Calatrava has an exceptionally well designed case, while it is beautiful, it also has a screw in crown and screw in the case. In fact, this is the only Calatrava to feature that, I think (not sure about 5107).

In my view, the 5127 is possibly the best designed modern Calatrava. Beautiful rounded case, like the sensual curves of a beautiful woman, just perfect. Simplicity at its best. ...
I know this sounds like hyperbole
... but if I could only own one watch, it would be the 5127. I should probably sell a Rolex or Panerai (or two or three) and just find one ;-) Thanks for the reminder of how special this watch is.
