A Lange showdown :-)
Both these watches although different in form and function have two things in common - superbly finished movements and elegance personified. I know the Little Lange is aimed at the female market but I cannot help but admire the beautiful guilloched dial and the way the movement fills up the case so splendidly. Ironically, the movement on the 37mm Saxonia thin is even lovelier to look at than the Little Lange despite the latter's complications. And only Lange can pull off something like this- by finishing its entry level model to such a level where any unbiased objective person would have to admit that this watch has really no competition at this price point and arguably even at a price point double this! 
Although I love the Little Lange and its mesmerising dial and its absolutely spot on (for me anyway) 36.8mm case , I believe the simplicity and classic looks of the 37mm Saxonia makes a possible purchase almost a no brainer especially for someone like me who likes simple two and three handed watches. Your thoughts and comments are most appreciated.

That is a real pity!
I agree a single barrel is quite normal for an ultra thin watch but Lange should have settled for a 45 hour power reserve like on the saxonia 35mm. Having a 72 hour power reserve means way too much winding every 3 days.
When a manufacturer

My vote is for the Saxonia thin
The problem I have with the guilloche on the Lange 1 isn't that it is feminine (I don't think it is), its that I don't like it. It seems too 'aggressive' and unvaried.
