A little bit of (preowned) Lange window shopping earlier this week.
Earlier this week I spent some time browsing my usual used watch sellers in Tokyo. As always I saw lots of interesting things, none however enough to push me over the edge towards a purchase, although the 1815 Chrono below pushed me close!
I am a single Lange owner (Datograph) and have been looking to add a Lange 1 at some point. However I'm looking for something interesting and not current production hence I'm always searching the classifieds and used sellers.
Here are a coupe of "interesting" Lange pieces which I saw. I thought I'd share as two of these may not be seen much, or at all, by many Lange followers.
First up the most interesting of those that I saw. From 2006, an 8 piece limited edition set produced for the Japanese market consisting of this RG 1815 Chrono and a RG Lange One Moonphase (not pictured). I am a big fan of the original 1815 Chrono, the RG Black Dial being my favourite until I saw this one. At a different time I may have made the plunge for this one, unfortunately the timing was not right for me this week for such a large purchase!
Next up, a Caberet. It was the fist time to see one in the metal. From many pictures here and elsewhere I thought it might be an interesting addition. However on the wrist it just doesn't work for me.
And finally from 2003 I believe a Lange One produced in 100 pieces for Sincere. Hard to capture this in the pictures. Overall I thought the dial was a little too much for my personal taste, the vertical pattern on the white gold dial was very very loud in person (this picture actually makes it seem very muted, but it wasn't).

I'd be interested in some details about your "usual used watch sellers in Tokyo" as well . I promise I won'd be any regular competition - I'll only spend a week in Tokyo this summer and my watch hobby is on my list!
