A new Vianney Halter project: The Capestan
Vianney Halter is currently working on a project with Monavo V4 designer Jean-Fran?ois Ruchonnet.
The name of this project is Cabestan (Capstan). It is a watch which is inspired by the world of sailing. The architecture of the timepiece is is very unusual, to say the least, and will feature a vertically implemented tourbillon with chain and a fus?e.
It will indicate hours, minutes , secondes (directly linked on the tourbillon cage) and power reserve.
This manual wound watch should be limited to 135 pieces only (YG 15, RG 55, WG 50 and Platinum 15).
A functional prototype should be presented at Baselworld 2006.
