A quick picture of the Jaeger Lecoultre Master Compressor Diving GMT.
Titanium case, 44 mm and 46 mm, with a clear preference for the 44 mm, this watch was a character.
As you can notice, Jaeger Lecoultre opted for an indicator above 6 o clock rather than a second hand.
The second feature is the compressor crown.
The third detail is the GMT subdial.
Original, cool, this watch didn't receive the warm welcome it deserved.
But as often with artists, it is when it is discontinued that a watch has some success...

I thought it was very cool.....
a "true GMT" that was limited to 1,500 pieces in the 44mm and unlimited in the 46. Very easy to read and wear, and the titanium made it very wearable. A great travel watch for those who like to be in and around the water a lot! -Dean

This kind of Tribute is not really a replica of a watch which existed, in my opinion. That's pretty clear with the TT Gyro, and that is also the case for the Polaris.
The Polaris Memovox 50th anniversary is not faithful to the original Polaris. That was the game to play for the Tribute. While the 50th anniversary is clearly a modern Polaris. Sapphire versus plexy, much less domed, flat dial, textured dial, much bigger ...

Thanks for your interesting input, Tim. Yes, this MC Diving GMT doesn't look outdated at all, after what? 12 years? Which is not that evident for a watch with such a strong personality.
It was well thought, and well designed. I think the future is bright, and that we'll see some exciting watches, in a close future. Jaeger Lecooultre is Jaeger Lecoultre, they HAVE to feed our dreams. And even, to go over our dreams, our expectations. Best...
