A time-only watch with remontoir,
larger balance wheel with maybe a lower (like 18000) beat rate, Breguet spring and maybe a second hand reset mechanism (like in the Resonance), but no tourbillon. I would buy such a watch in a heartbeat. I find the remontoir mechanism utterly fascinating, but am hesitant to pay the tourbillon premium. I imagine such a watch would be a hit with Purists. Any thoughts?
