A watch we rarely speak about: Jaeger Diving watch from the seventies.
We always mention the Deep Sea Alarm, Polaris, Master Mariner Deep Sea and the Chrono Shark, when we think " Vintage Jaeger, Lecoultre or JLC Diving watches, rarely this one comes in the conversation.
I realized I have it for two years, now, and that I even have a dedicated post about it, in my stock of reviews.
So, before putting the topic on line, here are some holidays pictures of that curious and rare beast.

Rare, certainly, but not the best quality feeling, I have to admit.

Also loved those green elements plus the red accent, next to the Plexi, of course, lugs as well : self- determined presence, I would say .. Forgot which kind of movement, If I may ask therefore ? Thx for great pictures in natural, almost rough surrounding...

Very intriguing modern-day-like diver from JLC! Very curious and I almost didn't expect to see the Jaeger on the dial with this piece... Care to share the diameter? Nothing like starting the day with a surprise! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend...

domed plexy.... strong lugs.... prominent numerals in the twelve oclock position... beautifully executed date window..... color contrasting hour and minute markers..... just a beautiful watch--thx for sharing this one as well as the Vintage breguet XX and...

A very interesting watch, Nicolas!
It looks very much like many watches from that period of time… But on the same time it looks very unique! The oversized 12, the large minute hand and the strange second hand. A bit of mix-and-match… Date at 6 the 24h markings… An odd bird! Less desirable?...
Less JLC, though, even if some elements of design inspired JLC, obviously.

I suspected that it was not in-house movement… Here are a few of mine from the same period of time. Sorry for the bad pics – I never bothered to make proper once. Many elements look similar... Bezel, big arrow, case shape… Best Blomman...
That logo...
....when I first saw that logo, my thought immediately went to the separate British Jaeger/Smiths company (tachos, speedos, ammeters)...It looks very similar to the Smiths Astral dive watches. Is there a caseback (internal/external?) photo?
