nice piece - and EXTREMELY rare.

Actually, a must have in any Vintage JLC Diving watch collection.
Best, Dean.
Nicolas.
Very intriguing modern-day-like diver from JLC!
Very curious and I almost didn't expect to see the Jaeger on the dial with this piece...
Care to share the diameter?
Nothing like starting the day with a surprise!
Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!
An old surprise, though, as I own it for two years, now, if I remember correctly.
Some other surprises to come, my friend... Much more exciting.
Best,
Nicolas.
Indeed, not the most well known in the family, but definitively part of it.

Funilly, it used to be my 'holiday watch' few years back.
You give me the idea to wear it again, as it hasn't seen any wrist time lately (maybe that has also something to do with me not having had holiday this summer too !!!! )
Or at least, almost all the others, as one has sadly gone, but another one happily came into my collection.
Best, my friend.
Nicolas
Will post the review in the following weeks.
Stay tuned!
Best,
Nicolas.
A funky offering from Jaeger, for sure.
My pleasure, Jason.
Best,
Nicolas.
It looks very much like many watches from that period of time…
But on the same time it looks very unique!
The oversized 12, the large minute hand and the strange second hand.
A bit of mix-and-match… Date at 6 the 24h markings…
An odd bird!
Less desirable? I think not!
Thank you for the reminder and the beautiful pics, my friend!
Q? What movement is inside?
Best
Blomman
I suspected that it was not in-house movement…
Here are a few of mine from the same period of time.
Sorry for the bad pics – I never bothered to make proper once.

Many elements look similar...
Bezel, big arrow, case shape…

....when I first saw that logo, my thought immediately went to the separate British Jaeger/Smiths company (tachos, speedos, ammeters)...It looks very similar to the Smiths Astral dive watches.
Is there a caseback (internal/external?) photo?
