Advice needed for De Bethune DB 2
Ciao everyone!
I sincerely hope that each of you had a great time this past weekend! Well I need advice from De Bethune owners or fans regarding the DB 2. I am not extremely familiar with the brand so I am hoping all of you could help me get familairized with it. The version i'm going after is the one in White gold. This piece is from a local AD of mine. A few questions then, 1.when was this piece actually released? 2. Is the movement an in-house? 3. For those who already own the watch, what is the general precision of this particular piece? Is it on the side that i count as "good" ( +/- 2 seconds per day) ? I understand that since this is a 2 hand watch, you cant really measure accuracy to such a level, but say using your eye estimate, or better yet those who have put it through a timing machine, what are the results?
4. Any comments you have on ownership of this watch? Complains? The only unfortunate thing i find about this watch is that it does not have a see-through caseback, but other than that, i'm totally in love with the blued- steel hands and something very rare in watches nowadays too, is the deep blue roman numerals.
Please, comment lots on this piece! Your help is much appreciated as this will help me pull the trigger or not on this piece. Also, if you could be kind enough as to post any photos of your DB2, they would be highly appreciated as well! Thanks guys! And have a wonderful week ahead!
