As far I can remember this watch was released at the beginning of the De Bethune adventure so around 2002/2003.
It's a classic watch without second hand.
This period was not the most interesting from DB.
At that time, the duo Zanetta / Flageollet were looking for the right style, the right strategy for the brand. They released very classic watches with the specific DB cases.
Now they are innovative timepieces with a full of impressive technical features.
I think but I'm not sure that the caliber inside it's an exclusive caliber but not in-house. As far as I can remember, the DB didn't have in house calibers at the beginning. Now, all the calibers are in-house.
Other point you may consider : the DB2 has a very large power reserve : 7 days.
I have an old DB catalogue in other place. If I find more details, I will tell you.
