Alkiro's carnivore testing no.7 - Chinese
Continuing with the scientific experiment, as demanded by Alkiro's hypothesis that I am the biggest carnivore he knows (last two installments can be found here: www.watchprosite.com here: www.watchprosite.com case you're looking for some lunch ideas), next in line comes Chinese.
Vienna is a wonderful city from a culinary perspective but it took us an inordinately long time to find some decent Chinese food. Finally, a colleague, who studied Chinese at university pointed us in the right direction. And what a pleasurable experience it has been!
So here we go!
And here the dishes, in no particular order (same way they were consumed
). No meat here...
No meat in the green ones, some pork in the red ones... And some in the white ones, too
No meat at all - with tasty greens like these, I could even become vegetarian for a meal or two

Definitely no meat on the Lucky Buddha
Memory turning hazy but I believe these had some meat...

In fact the whole meal was so tasty and filling that I completely forgot to take the accompanying watch picture! As for the scientific part, I believe the hypothesis is getting to be somewhat at risk, Alkiro!

A nice mix
of cantonese and shanghainese cuisine. Most of the dumplings would have some type of 'meat' ,if you include prawns as 'meat' as well,although some would be completely veggie! Enjoy your repast! best henry
Well, prawns I count as seafood...
If those were to be included as meat, you'd of course be right It was a truly delicious meal - my wife enquired straight away, if they are open 7 days a week

The beer got to change
To a true Chinese beer. Most common tsing dao but I would recommend snow beer. Cheers PAt
