An Old Dame
No fancy complication. In fact, just a simple hour, minute, seconds Oyster which I just got back from Rolex servicing.
I also just found out that the year of manufacture for this lady was sometime in 1950 - 51. She's 60 years old and looking as good as new. She is however, given her age and lack of certain parts which are no longer available (so Rolex tells me), no longer water proof or even resistant. The newer bracelet I put on some 10 years ago is also not a perfect fit for the older oyster case.
Just thought I share this little nostalgic trivia and Old Dame with you.

Yes manual wind. I may just try the strap.

I think the hands are the same but the dial
although not changed this time round was change 2 times before. Can;t remember the original dial color.

My understanding is that's it's a label only, Arthur . . .
. . . and not an indication of a high(er) grade movement. I just happen to prefer simple three-handed manual winds and the Precision range is Rolex's take on the genre.
