at least in environments with decent lighting. The reason is that light hitting the hands functions to highlight them against the dark background. But at certain angles it can indeed require a longer look at the dial.

Truly love this grey on grey, as well as the heft. Had contemplated the ghost when it was available, but was more connected to my Elephant.
