An UFO: the "Clé du Temps" by the Confrérie Horlogère

 

For many years, I've seen a lot of strange watches, a lot of strange time displays. But this is the first time I see a watch which complication is to show you "a different time".

Imagine you are in a boring meeting. Use the crown at 9 o'clock and speed up the flow of time...

Imagine you are living a fantastic experience. Use the crown and you can slow it down...

Imagine you need to be back to reality. Use the crown and the watch, automatically, will display the correct time.

It is of course technically impressive even if, at the end, we don't see the point. But well, at least, the owner of the watch can lead a reflexion about the perception of time.

The watch is huge but light.

The funny thing is that the very strange "strap" (I don't know if I can name it this way...) is very comfortable and at the end, perfect in this context.



 

We easily recognize the Tourbillon "à la BNB" at "6 o' clock".

The caliber has a 3hz frequency and a power reserve of 60 hours (364 parts).

At 4 o'clock, you get the retrograde second hand and at 8 o'clock, the power reserve indicator.

At 10 o'clock, it is the speed of time indicator.
