Another Basel novelty: Zenith El Primero Pilot Chronograph
A truly beautiful piece: With a diameter of decent 42 mm and the traditional bi-compax subdial layout, this Pilot chronograph is a worthy successor to the military timepieces Zenith built in earlier times. I am missing a flyback function, though, but the Pilot was designated to become Zenith's entrance piece with the El Primero, so keeping the price lower was a must.
Also a nice tribute to its heritage is the enlarged crown and the shaped pushers. However, the water tightness could be better than 50 meters for everyday use.

Regards,
Marcus

Marcus, Great and very desirable watch, bar the strap color (for my taste should be black, but I'm very "square" on this matter). I'm glad, as everyone in this galaxy, to see Zenith back to the track. Cheers

1) remove all words from the dial other than , "zenith" (seriously, why say "pilot", that is like making a t-shirt and having "t-shirt" printed on it) 2) no date 3) reduce length of hour markers by 20% =tremendous watch. Hound wound and it is a cult item....
