So grateful to have ended 2022 with this one. With so many 44GS to choose from, funnily enough it was the final release of 2022 which was also non LE that spoke to me the most. After so much confusion where I even bought a KS to scratch the itch temporarily, was happy to find the one that spoke to me most. I choose based on spring drive first (movement I didn’t previously own), white dial, iconic shape with direct lineage as far back as 1970’s, thin profile, crazy craftsmanship that almost makes we want to consider letting go of other watches in my collection that pale in comparison. World of GS is exhausting but I absolutely love.
