Being visited by a Mythical Monster: Omega Proplof 1200m
Team,
Years back I took some pictures from the 1970 Proplof and I was impressed.
But since it was a vintage one, I didn't dare to play too much with it.
I had the opportunity to play with the modern version (much better IMHO - Heresy #1) that feels more solid and reliable (Heresy #2).
From the inside, it's powered by the Omega CoAxial 8500 that's don't requires more considerations. It continues to be excellent.
From the outside ... Let's the pictures do the talking:
On a summary, it's big, bold, massive.
Surprisingly to me, as Art already stated, it's very wearable, even for non super hero wrists.
The big question is if it's worth to have one. Another surprise to me, that my answer should be "yes".

But I go the other way... My interest in the Ploprof is in the case construction, particularly the crown arrangement. Something lacking in the re-issue. (still kicking myself for not picking up an original in Singapore a decade + back....)
